
Three Little Kitties Find a New Home is the featured book for the Kiwanis StoryWalk on the Tridge for June
and July. The book is written by Brighton High Graduate, Emily Gavin Kugler. The true story about her
rescue and rehabilitate of animals especially cats and kittens. Three little boy kittens who were scared,
hungry and without a safe place to call home. She and her husband picked them up, fed them, loved them and eventually placed them in a loving home.
The book encourages children to treat animals with kindness and respect. It’s not just about finding homes for animals, it’s about teaching compassion, responsibility and love. The author’s goal is that every child who reads this story will see the value in caring for God’s creatures and be inspired to make a difference, no matter how small.
The Kiwanis StoryWalk on the Tridge is part of the Brighton Kiwanis literacy program which features Michigan authors and/or illustrators.
