This is the 6th year of this highly successful one-day community-wide event to help the homeless and others in need connect to information and services, such as housing assistance, health screenings, legal consultation, food services, clothing, and more.  It will take hundreds of dedicated volunteers to turn the beautiful Parker Middle School into a convenient “shopping mall” of services.

The event offers a variety of opportunities to serve: Guides, Greeters, Facility Maintenance, Parking, Loading, Security, Room Coordinators, Set-Up, Take-Down – to welcome; provide directions; help guests find the right resources; coordinate specific services; load vehicles; keep the facility safe and clean for everyone, and just as beautiful as we found it.  No prior experience in working with homeless individuals or with human service agencies is required.  Scouts and other youth groups are welcome and especially needed for Set-Up or Take-Down.

All Volunteers (except Set-Up and Take-Down) are strongly encouraged to attend one of the short orientation sessions, including a tour of the facility, prior to the event: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27th or 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30thNo registration is required.  Proceed to the main lobby area.
