Billy Mack and the Juke Box Johnnies featuring the Whatabouts

This band plays vintage R&B to Rock-a-Billy, featuring the female voices of the Whatabouts with music of the ’50s and ’60s.


July 21

Global Village

For more than 30 years, this band has packed area dance floors and keeps your hips a-shakin’. They boast a three-piece horn section, powerful voices and a driving rhythm section. Enjoy music from James Brown (“I feel good!’) KISS (“Detroit Rock City”) The Temptations (“Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone”) Earth, Wind & Fire (“September”) and Jimi Hendricks (“Purple Haze”).

Infinity and Beyond –

(a Journey Tribute Band)

They are considered one of the best Journey tribute bands in the Midwest. This past winter they performed at the Bright Center for the Performing Arts to a standing — and dancing crowd. “Don’t Stop Believing” “Any Way You Want It” “Separate Ways – Worlds Apart”



August 11

Persuasion Band

This is a dynamic eight-piece party, dance and show band. They return to our concerts with the Motown Sound, Donna Summer (“MacArthur Park”) songs and music of The Temptations, Aretha Franklin (“Pink Cadillac”) and Tina Turner (“Proud Mary”). A crowd favorite! Get up and dance or sing along in your lawn chairs.


August 18

The Leaky Tiki’s Band with the Soul Men, a Blues Brothers Tribute act.

TWO Tribute Bands in one night! The Leaky Tiki’s play tribute to Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefer Band (“A Pirate Looks at 40” “Volcano” “Fins”). Every Parrot Head from miles around will be here. Dress appropriately. Then from Cleveland, Ohio via Joliet, Illinois the Soul Men bring the music of The Blues Brothers (Jake & Elwood Blues) back to Brighton (“Soul Man” “Rubber Biscuit” and The theme to Rawhide)

Steve King and the Dittlies

Voted by Michiganders as one of the best ’50s and ’60s bands in the state. They perform classic rock and music from those eras. Considered one of Brighton’s favorite bands performing for the Kiwanis FREE Summer Concerts.
