Toppermost was formed in 1999.  For the past 6 years in a row, Toppermost has been the most booked tribute act in Michigan.  Toppermost authentically performs Beatle songs from the early to later periods energetically and full of fun. We don’t just stand at the microphone, we dance around and joke with each other just like the Lads did. Toppermost also contains the only John and Paul that can actually scream out songs accurately such as Oh Darling, I’m Down, Twist and Shout, Bad Boy and more! Our shows are spontaneous, infectious, funny and great for all ages!

From LivingstonDaily.com: Livingston Sensation — the summer competition to discover the county’s top singer — begins its second decade with a call to this year’s competitors.

The competition, sponsored by the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus, has crowned 10 winners, starting in 2003, when Howell’s Shannon Webb claimed the first title.

Patterned roughly after the “American Idol” television program, the Sensation finals regularly draw more than 2,000 people to the lawn astride the historic Livingston County Courthouse in downtown Howell. Originally a Saturday evening event, the finals moved to Sunday afternoon a few years ago, and it closes out the annual Howell Melon Festival weekend.
